Wheels in motion on new Tennis West partnership

  • Kinetic has partnered with Tennis West to support school-based sporting competitions in Western Australia 
  • The new partnership will help drive participation while serving up fun for students
  • It will provide an opportunity for many to try tennis for the first time 

A new partnership with Tennis West will see Kinetic take centre court in supporting access to sport for students in Western Australia. 

Kinetic is pleased to be Support Partner for the Tennis West Red Ball Competitions and the Tennis West Schools Classic, two leading school-based competitions encouraging children to take up sports in a fun and positive environment.

Tennis West Head of Marketing, Partnerships and Communications Travis Kalin, expressed enthusiasm about this partnership, emphasising the importance of supporting schools and local clubs.

“Tennis West is delighted to have Australian leader Kinetic join the tennis community,” Kalin said. 

“This partnership not only enhances our events but also strengthens ties with schools and local clubs.”

“These two events are pivotal to tennis thriving in Western Australia and to have the support of Kinetic will allow more schools to participate in the events.”

Providing an entry point into tennis, the Red Ball Competitions are run in October through December while the Schools Tennis Classic has been running since 1935 and is the largest participation tennis tournament in Western Australia.

Kinetic’s Executive General Manager for Western and Central Australia, Sarah Ismail, said Kinetic was proud to be associated with tennis in Western Australia.

“We regularly transport students to and from competitions and through this partnership we can provide even greater support to schools, students and tennis clubs,” she said. 

“Kinetic has a proud history of supporting programs that contribute positively to the community and bring people together. 

“These two events provide a great platform for creating healthy and happy young people and together with Tennis West we look forward to supporting future growth and opening up the courts to even more students.”

Kinetic’s operations in Perth include charter operations catering to schools, tourism, events and the resources industry, along with government contracted services and school bus services.
