Go Bus

New Zealand’s largest and most diverse operator of passenger service vehicles.

New Zealand’s trusted bus operator.

With 29 depots and more than 1500 vehicles operating from Auckland to Invercargill, Go Bus is New Zealand’s largest and most diverse operator of passenger service vehicles.

Go Bus provides contracted urban and school services to more regional authorities in New Zealand than any other operator, together with regional school bus and special needs transport for the Ministry of Education, and premium commercial contract and charter services under the Go Bus and Johnston’s Coachlines brands.

Go Bus is set to become New Zealand’s largest operator of electric buses including new electric vehicles for Greater Christchurch as part of Environment Canterbury’s transition to new, low emission buses and the fully electric AirportLink bus route to Auckland Airport.

Go Bus also successfully operates a Demand Responsive Transit solution in Devonport as part of a 12-month trial.

Transition to environmentally friendly vehicles

“Resoundingly, through our Regional Public Transport Plan consultation, our community told us they desire a fleet of environmentally friendly, low emission vehicles that offer a smooth and comfortable ride. Through these new contracts, we are beginning a transformation of the public transport experience; new, modern buses with a reduced emissions profile and all the conveniences our customers expect.”
