Kinetic Executive leadership team
A founding Director of Kinetic, Michael commenced his career in banking and has worked extensively in the transit industry.
He was a former Director of the Pacific Royal Group, and a founding Director of Heritage Group, which grew into the leading Bus Industry Advisory firm and co-led a range of bus company transactions totalling just over $1b in enterprises value, including the Ventura acquisition of the Grenda Group in 2012.
Before co-founding Kinetic in 2014, Adam has enjoyed a long and successful career in the Australasian transport advisory and finance industry, including as founding partner of the Heritage Group with Michael Sewards.
Over five years Adam has led the SkyBus Group’s drive for excellence and growing its footprint from a single Melbourne service to 15 services across five airports and two countries. Adam was also instrumental in Kinetic’s acquisition of Transit Australia Group in mid-2019.
Nigel leads Kinetic’s finance team, across Australia and New Zealand, delivering strategic oversight to financial analysis, reporting, fiscal planning and corporate governance.
Nigel’s 20-year career bridging the UK, Canada and Australia includes working in advisory at Deloitte and a broad cross-section of SME and global companies in retail, TV production, software sectors and high-growth, private-equity backed ventures.
Matt leads the strategic operation and commercial development of Kinetic’s dynamic business portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.
A career spanning aviation and transport, Matt offers executive level experience across key business functions including Commercial and Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing, Partnerships, Operations and Service Delivery, People Engagement and Communication, and Business Strategy.

Calum recently joined Kinetic following 12 years as Chief Executive Officer at Go Bus, where he not only drove growth and shareholder returns, but was also regularly found behind the wheel getting a hands-on understanding of the issues faced by his team.
With over 22 years senior management experience in the tourism, retail and telecommunications sectors, Calum is highly skilled in tender management, mergers and & acquisitions, strategy, team development and change management.
Annie recently joined Kinetic after 17 years at Herbert Smith Freehills, where she forged a strong relationship with Kinetic since its inception in 2014 acting on the SkyBus Melbourne acquisition, and the vast majority of its acquisitions and tender processes.
Annie has a very strong knowledge of the bus and infrastructure industries, through leading acquisitions and sales of bus businesses, advising on Australian and overseas bus transport tenders and large infrastructure investments and transactions.
