The Moving Communities Fund is Kinetic’s community grant program helping us to deliver our mission – to improve the livelihoods of the communities in which we live and operate.
From buying, recruiting and investing in our local communities to sponsoring sporting clubs that bring communities together and funding charities that matter to our people and their families, we always seek to find ways to support and connect communities
Submissions for our current round of Moving Communities grants closed on Wednesday 9 October 2024. and we received more than 200 applications from across the country.
Due to the overwhelming response, we're experiencing some delays in the review process. We expect to announce the successful recipients towards the end of November. Recipients will be announced here and all applicants will be informed of the outcome by email.
The Moving Communities Fund supports local grassroots organisations and groups to deliver and enhance positive impact within their communities. Assistance can range from cash grants of up to $10,000 to support community projects and capability, to providing buses to assist community members in connecting and participating in local events.

What support can I apply for?
We understand that the needs of each organisation are unique. Sometimes help may be sought for one-off projects that simply need some financial support. For example, new uniforms for the team, or installing new all-gender change rooms at a community sporting facility.
Sometimes community groups run an annual program and are looking for support to transport remote or disadvantaged community members to a regular event or gathering.
When you fill out the application ensure you let us know how we can best work with you and your community.
